My name is Lorenzo Zanor,

born and raised in Udine, a small town in the north-east of Italy, after the studies in Mechanical engineering a one-year work-study trip to Australia led me to the discovery of the wine world.

Since 2001 I’ve been working in several different positions in the industry, initially as bartender in a wine bar, then sales rep for a local distributor and after as a broker promoting Italian wines overseas.

With a 5 years experience as export manager for a Friuli Collio winery I’ve been basically covering most of the positions in the industry learning all the steps, from the production to the final consumer.

In 2021 the new project Classic Wine was born, with several different services offered to wine producers, wine importers and eventually also wine lovers but always maintaining the aim to promote the Italian wine culture abroad!
